The Chattahoochee River is my favorite place to trail run close to Atlanta. Its only about 20 minutes away, but offers enough terrain for me to get in a trail run. The trails are diverse, mainly single track, and add in slight elevation gains. My favorite is Cochran Shoals, where I did most of my training for my first few trail races.
